Any Suggestions?

Lets talk Customer Service. The most difficult conversation for me is the one I have with the customer about what can and can't be done in embroidery. Tiny text, detailed features, photo-realistic elements in tiny logos: I know better, but what is the best way to say "No?" My current tact involves some examples; both good and bad. But that doesn't always work. I hate blank stares from people wondering if I'm jerking them around.
As Customers are our lifeblood, they are our downfall.

Any suggestions for listing my blog? I've registered with http://www.globeofblogs.com/ . Any other ideas? Drop me a line.

Introducing: Embroidery Digitizing and Design Weblog

Hello.
My name is Abe Kingsley. I have been in the embroidery and screen-print business since college. I currently have 4 years digitizing experience and I thing we need more online dialog about our industry.
As a graphic designer and tech-lover, this is my attempt to bridge the technological and digital gap in our industry. There will always be room for design excellence. In-turn, there will always be a need for quality digitizing. Just like no computer can "automate" good design, neither can automated digitizing ever truly capture the nuances of good design and sew it out. We do need, however to embrace fully the technology that can speed up this process and bring our industry into this century.
I know the digitizing process is computerized, but I want more! I want digitizing-friendly photoshop plug-ins. I want seamless connectivity between my vector, raster, and digitizing programs. I want to drag this industry out of Corel Draw and into the breathtaking world of Adobe!

I'll be posting hints, tips and questions as often as I can. I hope to spark discussion, open dialogue and claim this tiny corner of www.
